John Raymond “Jack” Dyer

ACK DYER-Richmond's rock came from Yarra Junction in 1931. First played at StI Ignatius Oakleigh, where he was born. Later with school old boys' team. Age 25, weight 14st., 6ft. 1 lin. Married; In Police Force. His father played with Yarra Junction, created district record wlth, 100 goals in a season. Jack mixes L cricket, swmming and shooting greatest pleasure is in amusing children. Fond of reading, believes every man should have eight hours sleep. - Sporting Globe 1940 6
