Identification Work
James Taylor completed the identification work of the players in this image. He also identified the game as either the 1943 Preliminary Final or the Grand Final. The Richmond team was unchanged for both matches
Richmond won both matches and were 1943 Premiers.
He also corrected the initial identifcation of the ground as Punt Road Oval. Richmond are wearing black shorts as they are the designated home team in the finals match.
