'HYDE: 'Ted' has made an extraor dinary debut in Association football, and was in the limelight in the last semi-final for his high marking and the kicking of three goals. He plays half-centre-forward, and if he could kick as well as he can mark, would be a champion. He hails from Murtoa, and is the youngest player in the side to-day.' (Record- Emerald Hill,1928)3
