LEAGUE FOOTBALLERS OF 1950 -HALF-BACK FLANKERS By PERCY TAYLOR
Argus 24-Jun-1950 p14 The Argus Week-End Magazine
JACK HAMILTON came to Collingwood from the Ivan- hoe Amateurs with a reputation as a full back, but soon found his right place on the half-back flank. His first senior game was in 1948. Jack is big and strong, with tons of dash and judgment, and goes for a mark as if he had no thought of ever losing it.
A single man, 'jack lives with his people. He is employed in the Victorian Football League office, so is in the heart of the game.
