In war Jack Conley dodged out of the flak—in football he dodges arouiid the pack. In the RAAF be wore the blue of an airman—and now he wears the blue of Carlton. And are the Blues glad about that! Not for years have they been so much in need of good roving to bolster up their rucks, and Conley supplies just about all the talent they require.
